Sunny Side - 15.5" Meditation Cushion

The Sunny Side meditation cushion invites stillness with a smile.

Both a playful art piece and a functional object, designed to inspire your practice and serve as an eye-catching reminder that you create your own reality, one breath at a time.

Inspired by sacred geometry, the hexagon and triangle together express balance, unity, and transformation, the hexagon reflecting connection, compassion, and the intelligence of nature, and the triangle a meeting point of mind, body, and spirit. 

Fabrics:

• Black and white houndstooth corduroy (95% cotton, 5% lycra), sourced in Downtown Los Angeles for a fashion school project in 2005.
• Black, white, and yellow cotton with an expressive, yolk-like motif, also sourced in dtla for a fashion school project. This piece is cut from a larger, multicolored textile I've used across several works.
• Black and white cotton fabric, repurposed from a vintage dress found in Marin in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Orange cotton upholstery fabric, gifted by Maddie in Playa del Rey.

Filling:
A blend of organic buckwheat hulls, organic hemp hulls and organic latex from Open Your Eyes bedding in New York.
