Morning Ritual - 14" Meditation Cushion

Oversized houndstooth, a sunny center, and a vivid reminder that your practice can be both grounded and joyful. The Morning Ritual meditation cushion holds space for breath, intention, and the act of beginning again, in the here and now.

Rooted in sacred geometry, the triangle represents balance and harmony, a meeting point of mind, body, and spirit, and a space for transformation.

 Fabrics:

• Black and white houndstooth corduroy (95% cotton, 5% lycra), sourced in Downtown Los Angeles for a fashion school project in 2005.
• Black, white, and yellow cotton with an expressive, yolk-like motif, also sourced in the fashion district for a fashion school project. This piece is cut from a larger, multicolored textile I've used across several works.
• Black and white cotton fabric, repurposed from a vintage dress found in Marin in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Orange cotton upholstery fabric, gifted by Maddie in Playa del Rey.

Filling:
A blend of organic buckwheat hulls, organic hemp hulls and organic latex from Open Your Eyes bedding in New York.
